Savoring

Last week I read an article (by a homeschool mom) about savoring the moments.  In every moment there is something to savor.  When I am able to remember this little nugget of information, it really does lead to me being able to transform the moment from something challenging (ie., harrowing, frustrating beyond belief, kill me now) to something more grace filled.

We started school last Monday and by 9 a.m. Wednesday morning I was considering signing them all up for Public School.  However by 9:30 I was beginning to see the humor in just how horribly the day was going.  I will get around to writing about it someday, really I will, but for now just a few photos of what we've been up to around here.

He loves our bed.  He'd rather just sleep here than anywhere else. I think it is cute, but his daddy isn't as amused as I am by it.

So, it turns out, most of my pictures are of Isaac.  I need to work on that.  But He's still new enough around here he gets most of the attention.
